THE OWNERSHIP BOUNDARY

The token and the tweet are not the same thing.

This page describes the NFT transaction without turning it into a broader legal or financial claim.

What the record establishes

  • An NFT associated with Jack Dorsey’s first tweet was sold through Valuables.
  • Cent confirmed the exact ETH amount, its dollar value at the time and Sina Estavi as the buyer.
  • The platform record and contemporaneous reporting document the transaction.

What the public record does not establish

  • Ownership or control of the underlying tweet, the X account or the publishing platform.
  • Transfer of copyright, intellectual-property rights or a commercial licence to the tweet’s text.
  • Any present resale value, investment return, price target or guarantee of future demand.

Contemporaneous reporting on Valuables described tweet NFTs as digital collectibles that did not change the copyright or intellectual-property rights in the underlying post. This page is an editorial record, not legal or investment advice.

WHY IT REMAINS IN THE RECORD

A timestamp in the public debate over digital ownership.

The transaction became part of the global 2021 conversation about authenticity, scarcity and ownership on the internet. Its place in this biography is historical: a documented event connected to Sina Estavi’s public record, not a claim about the token’s present market value.
